South Park has (Highway) 99 problems
Highway 99 was built through Seattle’s South Park neighborhood in the late 1950s, as a way to support the city’s burgeoning industrial sector. Now, nearly 70 years later, the city has worked with community advocates to make a change, which could even include removing the highway from South Park altogether.
