Seattle's City Council unanimously passed the Seattle Transit Measure this week, sending a sales tax increase to November's ballot that would mean more frequent buses and 22,000 free transit passes for low-income households. The massive, international, Tukwila-based law firm Luz Legal has shut down.  The firm specialized in immigration cases while founder Alexandra Lozano branded herself as 'the lawyer of miracles.' Yet rumors circled Lozano for years about how the firm operated. Now a lawsuit alleging misconduct is in the works and thousands of Lozano’s former clients are scrambling.
